Call or Email us! We will schedule a free onsite consultation. We may ask for a few pictures to be emailed to us so we can have a preliminary view of the area. We can let you know an approximate price before we even come out.
The Removal Process
During our consultation, we will inspect the bamboo grove and confirm the species of bamboo. We will talk you through your options and devise a plan to eliminate, contain, or maintain your bamboo. Once the project plan is in place and the date is scheduled, we will arrive and remove the invasive bamboo. A deposit will be required before scheduling.
To start the removal process we will first cut down all the above ground growth. A small compact excavator will be brought in for the excavation process to remove all the “runners”, which are the rhizomes that stretch outwardly from the grove. We will follow these rhizomes to their ends and ensure that they are fully removed. Once the “runner” rhizomes are removed, the area where the above ground growth had once been will be excavated. This area will contain large amounts of stumps, roots and rhizomes. For disposal, local third party roll off dumpster companies will be used during the removal process. Dumpsters will be placed where space is available. If the township allows, they can be placed on the street, driveway or lawn if easily accessible. Once the removal is complete the area will be cleaned, flattened out and raked. Grass seed and straw are additional options upon completion.
All of our removals are backed by a 100% life time guarantee. This means that during the following growing season, Professional Bamboo Landscapers LLC will schedule a follow up to inspect the area and remove any left over stress canes, reburied rhizomes or missed areas at no additional cost.
